About this deal

The lavender is very dominant here, like the OG for me, but instead of a lot of spices, it is inherently sweet with the apple. The iconic scent of seduction now reaches an intense heat, inspired by the sharp sophistication of a Giorgio Armani tuxedo. I didn’t “fall in love” with the first spray, nor have I ever been blown away by the genius of this scent - but we don’t always have to be blown away to like a scent.

With that being said, this is quite a strong perfume, i do not get any tonka bean, however iris and citrus are pretty strong. It smells buttery, spicy and sweet to me, maybe a subtle boozy accord, like a cocktail made with bourbon and root beer (smells much better than it tastes, believe me).

Overall, I think I still like Absolu better, but after a week of wearing this, I'm glad I have this as well. I immediately loved Layton, so I wanted to love this so I could get this instead and save some money. Wanted by Night smells to me like "darker" notes were grafted onto a candy scent while Code Profumo smells like a cohesive scent with a decent bit of complexity. That’s really all you need to know, because that’s the best description I think anyone could give you. I got Armani Code Parfum from a contest by a certain YouTuber and I do not think I would have gotten the fragrance otherwise.First of all, the performance of this fragrance does not suggest it is a perfume, it is more like an eau de parfum but not in any way a perfume. I tend to lean more towards bleu/citrusy scent rather than dark and heavy ones, so as a result my modest collection lacks a cooler weather fragrance. The Armani Code line is like the Coke of the designer fragrance world (not only because it actually kinda smells like coca-cola). Yes, it's quite airy and likely wouldn't be as dense or as sexy as others you've tried, because you won't find overly sweet or gym-fresh-like accords here. I was hesitant when this first hit retailers because I fell for the opinion that insisted this was way too sweet!

Ive had Armani Code Parfum for a while but yet for some reason, I never really spent much time to process it's scent profile. And as always the aldehydes is extremly prominant with perfumes like these, they smell so frosty and like a gust of winter wind.Havent tried the new edt version yet i feel like i have to get this fragrance but i havent decide wich one get next this or two other french designer fragrance or this or edp version. But its good, on me it gives a decent performance, it lasts 5-6 hours on me, as i have problem with a lot of scents they dont persist on me. People say it's versatile, and i kinda agree with them, but just to honour a piece of art like this one, i strongly believe you have to wear this fragrance when you are dressed up.
