About this deal

Serious review aside, the authors overuse of the word “startled” drove me nuts and ignoring everything else that I disliked about it, would be the sole cause for me to not read another book from her. I generally like series built around families and groups of friends, so I will probably be reading the rest of this series so long as it doesn't get any worse (I'm not holding my breath for better, but am still hoping).

I enjoyed the easy flow between the two when they could get out of their own heads and enjoy themselves without second guessing themselves and each other. Second Chance Mistletoe Kisses by Anne-Marie Meyer is the first book in the Christmas Romance Collection series.I used to be anti children/pregnancy in books but I’m about to have a baby of my own any day now and nothing sounds hotter than a over protective mmc who is also a great dad. Olivia thought she had the perfect plan; to convince Ethan, the school quarterback who had been her best friend since they were little, to offer himself as the prize in her march making test, in which she intends to use the proceeds to pay for a vacation for the band. Yet when Josh and his 5 year old son Jordan come into her life again, it's taking everything she has not to open up to him and gather strength and help from this crushing weight she's carrying around. If this is indicative of how the Braxton Brothers series is crafted, it is not well written enough for me to continue reading.

We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. This is a fun story with a sweet little boy, a meddling mother, a spoiled acquaintance and a sick scared mother that bring humor and frustration to this story.

i was initially going to give this book 3 stars and then i thought more about it and i was like why would i do that it was genuinely terrible so i gave it 2 stars.

But, having Josh run his fingers through his hair and Beth put a strand of hair behind her ear seemed to happen much too frequently. Then there is the alternating POV that switches between Shelby (MC), Miles (single dad) and Abigail (supposedly new bff of MC) almost every chapter.

If you love a one-of-a-kind romance with swoon-worthy heroes and toe-curling kisses, you’ll love Coming Home to Honey Grove. I think there was something familiar about the plot and writing but none the less I was sold on most of the story. Even though Beth is no longer the lanky girl next door, Josh isn't looking for a relationship anyway. I know I am a fast reader, but I felt like I read this book super fast, and I just felt like it was because there wasn’t a whole lot of meat to it.

This clean standalone romance was fun and entertaining while it touched my heart with angst, trust issues, and love as these two reluctant people tried to stay professional guarding and navigating their growing feelings thru an incredible journey of secrets, interference, working n. She is only ever referenced and is almost completely non verbal, apparently she's always giggling and that's the only trait to her. But what the principal does not know is that they have a history which makes it hard for Penny to work with him. And there was something about the way he insisted on being protective if me that made my whole body feel light.I would say if you’re looking for a book to listen to on a long haul flight or sitting at the beach, it could be worth your credit. I know I often revert to my insecure teenage self when I'm around those who intimidated me as a teen and that feeling was easy for me to relate to, whether or not it was intended to be that way. The characters were well developed and the story was about healing, trust and learning to love again.
